SHUTCM welcomes new intl students
A group of Chinese
language students started their new semester at the Shanghai University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) on March 7.
The students were
from some 20 countries including France, Sweden, Italy, Germany, the US, Brazil,
Sierra Leone, South Korea, Iran, Laos, Mongolia, Japan and Malaysia.
Dean of SHUTCM's
International Education College Lin Xun extended a warm welcome to the students,
and wished the youngsters to enjoy their studying and living in Shanghai with
various academic and cultural immersions.
School teachers then
briefed the students on important issues, such as class arrangements,
scholarships, and HSK – Chinese proficiency tests.
Some students also
got awarded for their academic progress or dedication to voluntary services
during the previous semester.
