In order to accurately assess the Chinese proficiency of new students, CIE (College of International Education Shandong University) provides five different levels (3-7) courses for international students. Students could choose the course which is suitable for yourself.
The curriculum of the program includes the following courses: Speaking, Listening Skills, Comprehensive Chinese, Newspaper Reading, Grammar, News listening, Characteristic practising, Writing, Pronunciation, and Chinese language practising.
CIE also offers public elective courses and advanced eletive courses. ublic elective courses include Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Beijing opera, China film, Second class, Taiji, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Er-hu, etc. Applicants should be no-citizen of Chinese with good health, whose mother language is not Chinese
