INTERNATIONAL STUDENT’S COMMENCEMENT, 2011 HELD AT OUROn July 4, 2011, the commencement for International students, 2011 was held at our new auditorium of graduate building. 178 graduating students and 300 parents participated in the grand commencement.
Professor Xishan Hao, President of Tianjin Medical University, Mr. Shubin Li, Vice Director of Tianjin Immigration Bureau, Mr. Jianqing Zhang, Director of International Exchange Department of Tianjin Education Commission, Ms. Jie Hou, Vice Party Secretary of Tianjin Medical University and Professor Yaogang Wang, Vice Pressident of University attended the commencement.
Dr. Xiaomei Yao on behalf of teachers teaching the international students delivered a speech. Ms. Chinthika, the representative of graduating students and Dr. Samarasekara, representative of parents expressed their deep impression on our university and thanks for the warmhearted instructions from their teachers to the students for five years. Ms Chinthika also expressed that she will continue to study after graduation and serve the patients wholeheartedly.
President Hao congratulated all the students on successful graduation from TMU. He told the graduating students that it is your first step on the road to medical profession. You have a long way to go to become a medical doctor with virtuous character and medical excellence. Dr. Hao wishes all the students make achievements and contribution to the medical sciences in their occupation.
The commencement came to end with the Hippocratic Oath and a group photo.
