1. Program Overview
This program aims to train students who after graduation can do translation /
interpretation in the areas of government foreign affairs and international
business and trade, to equip them with proficient language ability and skills,
broad international vision, so as to provide them with the knowledge and
humanistic quality needed in the work of translation / interpretation.
2. Main Courses
English Speaking and Listening, Extensive Reading (1-4), Intensive Reading
(1-6), English Writing, British Literature, American Literature, Basic
Translation, English Stylistics and Translation, Translation History, Western
and Chinese Translation Theories, Consecutive Interpreting, Simultaneous
Interpreting.
3. Degree Conferred
Bachelor of Art (English Translation)
4. Length of Program
Normally 4 years
1.High school Diploma or above, 2.18 to 55 years old, 3.Healthy foreigners. 4.TOEFL 70(internet based) /190(computer based)/520(paper based) or IELTS 5.5 above for students from non-English-speaking countries (or pass the English language test organized by the College).

3. Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4. Academic transcript of high school
