College of Golf Management
In 1995, initiated by Shenzhen Golf Association and supported by Shenzhen Municipal Government, the first domestic golf management specialty was set up in Shenzhen University. In 1997,with the approval of the municipal government and sponsored by people from different fields, a private school---SZU College of Golf Management was established.
As the first program of golf management in China, we aim at training the students relative skills and professional knowledge of golf management, obtaining the professional capabilities in management of golf clubs or associations, organizing all golf competitions and developing products and the market of the golf sport. The school now offers about 60 required courses and optional courses.
The college is equipped with plenty of facilities in the aspects of education and experiment. It has a modern reference room, a computer center, a multimedia classroom, and a specialized golf drive range with an area of 50 thousand square meters, and one permanent professional course as Shenzhen Longgang Public Golf Club.
