Residence Permit  
All international students with the study visa，visit visa or tourist visa must handle residence permit in the local public security organ within thirty days from the date of entry. The ones fail to handle it within the limit will be punished as illegal immigrants.
 
Application Process of Residence Permit
1. After arrival registration，fill out the Application Form of Visa and Residence   Permit andRegistration Form of Temporary Residence for Foreigner in the International Student Office.
2. The principle takes the passport to the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Guangxi Health for medical examination.
3. The principle takes the passport and Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Foreigner to Binhu Police Station for registration.
4. The principle takes the Application Form of Visa and Residence Permit，Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Foreigner sealed by Binhu Police Station，medical certificate， school certificate，learning approval document，passport and other materials to the Exit-Entry Management Division of Nanning Public Security Bureau for handling residence permit.
 
Extension and Cancellation of Residence Permit
1. International students， who need continue the learning in China after the expiration of residence permit， shall apply for an extension before one month from the expiration， take valid passport and residence permit to fill out the Application Form for Extension of Visa Certificate of Foreigner in the International Student Office and then go to the Exit-Entry Management Division of Nanning Public Security Bureau for handling extension procedures.

2. When International students leave China after the end of learning， they shall take their own valid passports to leave the country within the period of residence permits. If it fails to leave the country on schedule for any reason， it is required to apply for approval for visa or residence permit extension procedures. For international students who do not return after leaving， their residence permits are recovered by the frontier inspection station when they leave.
