Japanese Guests Visited NCUST

On March 4, President Zhang Yuzhu and Vice-president Liang Yinghua warmly met with Prof. Kawabata Wang from Tohoku University, Prof. Jue Jing Shen Hao from Kyushu University and Prof. Zhang Xing from Asahikawa University Japan.
 
During the talks, the school leaders first warmly welcomed the Japanese guests, introduced our university-running characteristics, key disciplines, and reviewed the cooperation between our two universities. The Japanese guests respectively introduced the advantage disciplines of their universities and raised their interested cooperation disciplines and fields according to our university’s subject settings. According to the current domestic and international energy situation, both sides discussed the steel industry future sustainable development from an angle of economics, and the issue on how to use the universities’ scientific research strength in serving the steel economy. Both sides first decided to carry out the further cooperation in the fields of resource and metallurgy, and gradually extend to other fields.
