Lincoln University Delegation Visited NCUST

At the end of March, at the invitation of vice president Liang Yinghua of NCUST, Prof. Andrew Atherton, vice president of Lincoln University, Prof. Norman Cherry, dean of school of Architecture & Design of LN came to visit NCUST. On April 9, Mr. Manjeet Ridon, director of the international office of Lincoln University, and Prof. Ian Barnes came to visit our university. Liang Yinghua met the guests.

 
Prof. Liang Yinghua stressed that this year was the critical period for our university to widen communication channels with Lincoln University; both sides should strengthen communication, work hard together, and make sure to complete this year's cooperation plan efficiently with high quality. Representatives from Lincoln University also visited NCUST’s College of the Arts and College of Light Industry, and had a meeting with the two colleges’ leaders and teachers.
 
This year, the cooperation plans between the two universities included multi-channel communications such as developing new cooperation fields for art design major, opening new joint doctoral program, deepening postgraduate training program, establishing undergraduate exchange training mode, continuing to develop summer camp program with Lincoln and founding Confucius Institute in Lincoln.
