University of Wales Trinity St David Delegation Visited WUT
In the morning of 11th November, Professor Medwin Hughes and other two members from University of Wales Trinity St David visited Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). WUT President Zhang Qingjie and vice President Zhang Lianmeng received the delegation at the conference room, with leaders from International Exchanges and Cooperation Office, School of Automobile Engineering, School of Art and Design, School of Logistics and School of International Education among the attendees.
President Zhang Qingjie extended, on behalf of WUT, warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the recent development of WUT, and expressed the satisfaction on the cooperation between WUT and University of Wales Trinity St David. In response, President Medwin Hughes introduced his university and spoke highly of the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. He also hoped that the two universities could expand cooperation further.
During the conference, two presidents jointly signed cooperation agreement between two universities, and discussed on issues such as cooperative research, talent cultivation, students exchanges, and teachers’ mutual visits. After the conference, the delegation visited the new campus, National Engineering Laboratory for Fiber Optic Sensing Technology, and State Key Laboratory of Silicate Materials for Architectures.
