Introduction to the School of Software

School of Software in Central South University ( CSU )was established in November 2002 and approved as a national model of Software School in January 2004 by the Ministry of Education of China.

The Bachelor’s program includes 3 Professional branches, which are large-scale software development and management, digital media technology, and embedded systems.

Students in Central South University have achieved a lot of awards in various competitions, such as ACM programming contest, International Mathematical Modeling Contest, English Contest, and software design contest. The employment rate of our major graduates is 100%, and 60% of them are employed by well-known IT companies in China.

Entry Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport

2. High school graduate or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate

3. Be in good health condition and above the age of 18

Photocopy of notarized foreigner physical examination record (for durations of study over 6 months)

2. Photocopy of valid passport

With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included

3. Passport photo

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

4. High school academic transcript

5. High school graduate certificate

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

6. English proficiency test certificate

If any, for English-medium programs; For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English
