Graduation and Degree Granting Ceremony for International Students of Changsha Medical University (CSMU) in 2014.

Graduation ceremony of CSMU in 2014 was held at the lecture hall on the sixth floor of the office building at 10:30 a.m. on June 30th, 2014. He Binsheng, the president, Wei Renzhong, the Party Secretary, Hu Dongxu, the academic president, Lu Jiexiang, the executive vice president, Li Honguang, the vice president, Zou Chunhua, secretary of commission, and Li Heping, chairman of the labor union and other leaders of CMSU attended the ceremony. And all the teachers and foreign students of International Education Institute were present in the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony commenced with solemn national anthem of he People’s Republic of China. He Binsheng, the president, made a report for the graduation ceremony. And he congratulated 31 graduate students on graduating successfully and put forward several requirements for graduate students. Firstly, he hoped all the foreign graduate students can remember their promise that they are determined to strive diligently to eliminate man’s suffering, enhance man’s health conditions and uphold the chasteness and honor of medicine. Secondly, they can combine theory with practice, study hard in their positions, and integrate textbook knowledge into the practice of curing the sickness and saving patients. Thirdly, they shall be capable of applying their knowledge into practice and making contribution to medical cause of their own country and to human’s physical and mental health. Fourthly, they should care for patients, service the people, and win honor for almamater. Finally, he wished all gradate students in 2014 playing to their specialty and making their own contribution to medical and health cause in the word and to all humanity’s health in the future.

Saba, a graduate student in 2014, delivered a speech on behalf of graduate students. She extended her gratitude to teachers’ inculcation and selfless care in the past five years and to students in CMSU who helped and cared them. “The five years’ life had already made us like brothers and sisters”, she said. She indicated that she would work hard in the future, always harbor a dream, and live up to cultivation of the almamater.

At last, Lu Jiexiang, the executive vice president, declared a close of Graduation and Degree Granting Ceremony for International Students of CSMU in 2014. And all the graduate students took pictures together with leaders in the university and teacher in International Education Institute in a warm and grand atmosphere.
