The Four Key Provincial Constructional Courses of Our University Inspection and Evaluation

On the afternoon of Dec. 26, 2010, leading by Wu Yihu, the director of Sci. & Tech. Office of CSUST, He Jianhua, the director of Post-graduates office of HNUA, and Pan Feng, the director of the Sci. & Tech. Office of Hunan Educational Department, the experts conducted inspections and evaluations on the construction of couses of our university, they especially emphasized the construction of the key provincial constructional courses of Mechanical Design and Theory, Optics, the Course of Animal Sci., and the Course of Literature & Art during 2006-2007. The examining results issuing conference was held in the No. 2 meeting room of our Uni., the leaders of our Uni., including: Mr. Cao Guangrong, Mr. Wei Yi, Mr. Li Min, Ms. Yao Chunmei, the leaders of key constructional courses above university level, and the leaders of corresponding Departments all participated in the meeting.

Ms. Yao Chunmei, the vice president of our university, held a subject report for the experts on the following aspects: the course constructional planning, the efforts to reinforce the construction of courses, the current achievements, and the work in the future.   
     
She pointed out, through several years’ construction & development, the construction of the key provincial courses of our university have made cheerful achievements,;all the courses are growing with each passing day; the scientific levels are improving regularly;continuing growth of the courses is expected; and fruitful scientific results have been made; the key provincial courses are integrated; remarkable results were made in terms of the awards of scientific research, the quantity & quality of published essays.     

The construction of the provincial key courses speeded up the improvements of other courses, it has traggered off the switch from mono-teaching to teaching & researching, from single-coursed to multi-coursed, from conserved to open. Afterwards, the academic leaders of the four key provincial constructional courses reported separately on their course construction, scientific research, teaching & cultivating of talents.

At the meeting, Cao, the party secretrary of HUAS also pointed out, in the past many years, as a tradition of HUAS, the construction of courses co-worked with the development of the Changde local economy and society, thus formed the mechanical situation of "constructing the courses in the service of the society, and serving the society in the construction of the courses".Through combining learning, producing, and researching, we can bring in new energy & inspiration to the innovation of course construction, and improve the function of scientific innovation, cultivation of talents, and service of the society. In the future, our university will continue intergriting our resourses, utilizing our advantages, and contributing our efforts to build up Changde--a city of culture. Meanwhile, he also wished the experts to contribute some instructional guidences to the construction of the key provincial courses, and help to push forward the course construction of our university.
