International College is one of the twenty-one colleges of Zhejiang University of Technology. The college takes excellent teaching resource of Zhejiang University of Technology as its basis, and the main task is Chinese-foreign cooperative teaching items, which include Zhejiang University of Technology & TASMANIA University (Australia) (No.[2002]48 Academic Degree Office of State Department), Zhejiang University of Technology & LA TROBE University (Australia) (No. [1995]202 Zhe Jiao Wai), Zhejiang University of Technology & MUNSTER University of Application Technology (Germany) (No. [2001]233 Zhe Jiao Wai), etc… The target of the college is to bring up senior international people who owns good foreign language ability, modern acknowledge and powerful skills to meet the development of society and economy, as well as the progress of science and technology. 

The cooperative teaching item of Zhejiang University of Technology & TASMANIA University (Australia) was approved by the State Department in 2002. The graduate enrolled in accordance with national universal plan can achieve two bachelor's degree certificates of Chinese and Australian. The cooperative teaching item of Zhejiang University of Technology & LA TROBE University (Australia) was approved by the Educational Department of Zhejiang Province in 1995, and now has accumulated eight years' teaching experience. There are many international popular subjects such as International Trade, Computer Science & Technology, Practical English, Business Administration, International Business, Business English, Computer Information Management, Scientific German, and so on. The teaching plans made together by Chinese and foreign teachers are strengthening English teaching and combining English, business and computer. More than one third of courses are hosted by foreign senior teachers with English text books.
