ZJSU Established Cooperation with Illinois State University

On April 7th, Dr. Luis Canales and Dr. Wang Yimin, Director and Vice Director of Office of International Studies and Programs of Illinois State University, visited ZJSU. Directors of International Office and School of Economics, ZJSU met the guests and carried out a substantial discussion.

Tao Ying, Director of International Office made an introduction of the internationalization development of ZJSU and hoped the two universities can cooperate in depth on student exchanges and faculty visits. Dr. Luis introduced Illinois State University and its progress made in internationalization, expressing his willing to conduct cooperation. Both sides expressed their willingness to cooperate on various programs and reached certain consensus. These programs include long-term and short-term exchanges, 3+1 and 3+1+1 programs of dual degree in economics majors and Sino-foreign cooperative education on the major of food science. This summer vacation, ZJSU will send student delegation to Illinois State University for the very first time.

After the meeting, Dr. Wang Yimin discussed the cooperative programs and details of courses with Wang Yongqi, Vice President of School of Economics, ZJSU and conducted an information session about the programs in School of Economics, ZJSU.
