Program Objectives

Designed to meet the needs of Hospitality Management, this program gives the students both in-depth knowledge in hotel management and a broader range of transferable skills that can be applied to a variety of hotel supervisory and managerial roles.

Faculty

Faculty of Hospitality Management (FHM)was founded in 1983.Over the past thirty years, the FHM has worked at the boundaries of theory and practice. FHM has maintained a good reputation in teaching and research on hotel management in China. Our academic staff have a wide range of research interests and have been involved in many research projects sponsored by government annd private agencies.

Length, Credits and Degree

The length of curriculum is four years. Minimum credits for graduation: 130 credits.

Qualified students will be granted Bachelor degree of Management in International Hotel Management.

Instruction Language

All the courses are delivered in English except some of Chinese language courses.

Dissertation is required to be written in English

Entry Requirements

1. Non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

2. Have high school certificate

3. Applicants (except for English native speakers) must have TOEFL test or IELTS test or have other English language proficiency.

Application Materials

1. Graduation certificate of high school

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

2. Academic transcript of high school

Transcript should be in Chinese or English. If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

3. Certificate of English proficiency test

It is better to upload your IELTS or TOEFL results when you are applying for a course taught in English, especially for those non-native English speakers, even though it is not a compulsory condition in some of the universities.

5. Two letters of recommendation
From professor or associate professor or equivalents.

6. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included.

7.Two passport-sized photo
Two recent passport-sized photo of the applicant.

8. Health certificate
Photocopy of foreigner physical examination record.
