The National Education work Conference on Foreign Affairs in 2009 was holding in Beijing on December 15th. The CPC Central Committee of politburo, State Councilor Liu Yandong attended the meeting and made important speeches.
 
Liu Yandong stressed the work should obey and serve the overall interests of the party and the country , meet the overall foreign-oriented strategy of the country ,promote the development of the education reform , promote cultural exchanges and cooperation, innovate ideas, focus on content, improve the institutional mechanisms, strengthen team building and raise the overall level of education about foreign affairs, in order to contribute to socialism with Chinese characteristics and modern education system.
 
Yuan Guiren , Minister of Education presided at the meeting and Hao Ping, vice minister of the Ministry of Education  made a concluding speech. The meeting also invited Minister of foreign affairs-Yang Jiechi on the current international situation and China's diplomatic work gave a special reports
 
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, cities with independent planning, as well as the Ministry of Education relative departments , bureaus and colleges concerned, the embassies and consulates in charge of the education department attended the meeting . Ma Jian , our school principals attended the meeting.
