Nanjing University Hosts MTSA 2011

The 2011 International Symposium on Microwave/Terahertz Science and Applications (MTSA 2011) was held at Nanjing University during June 19 to 22.
 
Upwards of 120 experts from China, Japan, South Korea, the U.S.A., Australia, Austria and Singapore participated in the symposium, including Academician Liu Shenggang, Academician Yao Jianquan, MIT Prof. Hu Qing and Prof. Masayoshi Tonouchi of Osaka University. They delivered lectures discussing the current trends and future directions of microwave/terahertz research.
 
The symposium provides young researchers and graduate students with updated research information on microwave/terahertz science, technology and applications.
 
Nanjing University Vice President Prof. Lv Jian and Prof. Wu Peiheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, also attended the symposium.
