Best University in International Cooperation in Jiangsu

Jiangnan University (JU) was honored as “Best University in International Cooperation in Jiangsu 2009-2010”, news released at Jiangsu Education Foreign Affairs Convention held in Nanjing days ago. With the presence of Prof. Xu Yan, Vice President of JU, Prof. Zhong Fang, Director of the International Office of JU, Prof. Zhou Huiming, Dean of the School of International Education of JU, the Convention rated high the achievements JU made in this field in the past years.

Over the past years, great importance has been attached to international communication in JU. The University set up a particular running system with the President and a Vice President in charge, professors playing vital roles, and the International Office guarding the pass. In light of its value, international communication has been integrated as an important index into the term objectives of each subsidiary school.    

In the coming Twelfth Five-year period, the University is intending to increase the number of international specialists, to promote the international exchange of teachers, students and managerial staff, to raise the proportion of students with international experience, to improve the quality of international cooperation projects, and to enlarge the scale of international students in JU.
