Achievement of Shenyang Medical College

The universtiy now has 4 municipal-level key disciplines, 10 university-level key disciplines and 5 research centers. As the postgraduates cultivation base of China Medical University, the university has 20 part-time master tutors and offers 13 disciplines including Pathology for the postgraduates for Master's degree. In addition, the university is the work station for the academicians specially invited by the municipal government, and 7 academicians have already worked at the station and are invited as our honorary professors.

In the recent three years, the university has acquired nearly 200 research projects at or above municipal level, among them 5 projects are international cooperation projects, 5 projects are national cooperation, 27 projects are provincial-level and ministry-level research projects, and 25 projects havepassed Scientific Research Achievement Appraisement and 10 of the 25 projects achieve international advanced level and 15 of them achieve domestic advanced level; was awarded one 'First Prize for Progress in Science and Technology', four Second Prize, and four Third Prize by Liaoning Province; was awarded two First Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, five Second Prize and thirteen Third Prizeby Shenyang. Since 1999, the college has published 2207 papers in public magazine. The university has established friend relationship with more than 10 universities and research institutions in Japan, U.S.A., U.K. and Germany etc.To develop international communication and cooperation, and has invited 48 foreign experts and scholars as the honorary professors of our university.
