Dean of School of Engineering, University of Mississippi Visited NCUT

Alexander H D Cheng, Dean of School of Engineering, University of Mississippi visited NCUT on 5 June. Zheng Wentang, Secretary of Party Committee, along with Vice President Shen Zhili, met Dean Cheng in Room 302, Dunpin Building.

After extending warm welcome to Dean Cheng, Secretary Zheng reviewed the fruitful achievements attained by NCUT and University of Mississippi in terms of faculty exchange, student exchange, joint cultivation of students, etc. Both parties fully discussed the extension of cooperative areas between two universities, the establishment of high-quality joint programs, the progress in faculty exchange programs, and the implementation of International Degree Program in Electronic and Information Engineering. Dean Cheng stated that University of Mississippi attaches great importance to its cooperation with NCUT. Specifically, Dean Cheng indicated that School of Engineering, University of Mississippi would actively collaborate with and support NCUT to make the International Degree Program in Electronic and Information a big success.

After the meeting, Dean Cheng conducted full discussion regarding the details of joint programs with the faculty members of School of Electronic and Information Engineering as well as International School, NCUT.
