HEBUT Hosts the Second OIPEC International Conference on Technological Innovation Method
OIPEC international conference on technological innovation method, organized by the National Technological Innovation Method and Tool Engineering Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center), HEBUT, was held successfully at Tianjin from April 4th to 5th, 2018. This conference, based on the OIPEC project under the EU-funded Erasmus program, is the second OIPEC international conference on technological innovation method hosted by the Center.
The two-day conference took place in four stages. During the conference, nine experts from Italy, Finland, France, Russia, and HEBUT gave keynote speeches, exchanged ideas and conducted discussions in detail with representatives from the business community and peer universities.
This conference has provided the representatives with an opportunity to have broad academic and project operation discussions in areas of innovation theory and application research, and promoted exchanges among students, researchers and teachers between universities from EU countries and developing countries. It will also actively boost the development of researches on innovation theory and beyond.
Brief Introduction to the OIPEC Project
The OIPEC project is hosted by Professor Gaetano Cascini from Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. The participants are from the following six universities: National Grenoble Polytechnic University, France, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, Moscow State University, Russia, Vladimir State University, Russia, Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT), China, and Tianjin University, China. The total sum of project funds is €980,000 and the execution cycle is from October 2015 to October 2018.
