1. Isolation, functional identification and variety improvement of important agronomic traits genes in crops
Some important agronomic traits related genes with independent intellectual property rights are isolated and cloned, and their functions are analyzed and identified, and the characteristics of crop varieties are improved by genetic transformation.
2.Anti inverse molecular biology and genetic engineering of crops.
In order to realize the major scientific problems in the sustainable agricultural development of resources saving type in China, the molecular basis of crop stress resistance expression and the breeding of resistant genetic engineering crop varieties are carried out. The main contents of the study include the cloning and identification of the genes that regulate the resistance to low temperature, drought resistance and salt resistance of major crops, the isolation, identification and signal transduction of the promoter of environmental stress response genes, and the breeding of resistant genetically engineered crop varieties.
3.Cell engineering and crop production
We should focus on the research of plant cell and protoplast culture, the pathway of secondary metabolites and the regulation of key enzyme genes, the production of crop products by fermentation, the genetic manipulation of somatic hybridization and cell fusion, and the change of crop heritability.
