UIBE attends China-Japan university fair
A UIBE delegation led by vice president Zhao Zhongxiu attended the China-Japan University Fair and Forum held in Guangzhou on May 13, 2018.
Co-hosted by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the Japan Science and Technology Agency, the forum attracted more than 800 people from over 200 universities and enterprises from China and Japan.
In talks with UIBE’s long-term partners including Shinshu University, Ritsumeikan University and Nagoya University representatives, Zhao hoped to expand and deepen cooperation in academic research and teaching faculty exchanges, on the basis of the existing student exchange program. The three Japanese universities said that the UIBE is an important partner and echoed Zhao’s proposal.
Zhao introduced UIBE’s strengths and characteristics to presidents of the University of Shizuoka and Kobe University, hoping to develop cooperation with them in diversified ways. The two Japanese universities showed their interests in future cooperation, hoping that the talks will establish ties with UIBE. (Li Yang)
