UIBE joins Chinese embassy's open day in US
The UIBE attended the open day activities held by the Chinese embassy in Washington on May 5.
Hu Ruijuan, an assistant professor of international trade of the UIBE, introduced the university and its cooperation with foreign schools in education and training.
This is the first time that the Chinese embassy has taken part in the open day activities host by the cultural and tourism agency of the District of Columbia.
Cui Tiankai, Chinese ambassador to the U.S., said he hopes the guests can gain a deeper understanding of China and the Chinese people, including their life and spiritual world, their past, contemporary life and future dreams while emphasizing that the mutual understanding of two peoples is the most solid foundation for Sino-US ties.
