Beijing University of Technology Chinese Language and Culture Study Program (Summer/Winter Program)

I. Beijing University of Technology

Established in 1960, Beijing University of Technology (Beijing Tech) is a key comprehensive university for science, engineering, management, and liberal arts. It is one of China’s “One Hundred Key Universities” for the 21st century. It is located in the heart of CBD (Central Business District) of Chaoyang District, Beijing.
Currently, there are around 30,000 students, among which 12,000 are undergraduate students, 7000 full-time postgraduate students,1000 PhD students and 500 internatinal students. The university has 1500 full-time teaching staff, including more than 300 Professors, and about 800 Associate professors.
 
II. Program Details

1.      Course and Purpose: The program lefts around spoken Chinese teaching, as well as a taste of Chinese culture. It aims to improve learners’ oral Chinese communicative skills and enable them to have a better and more in-depth knowledge of Chinese culture through personal experience.
2.      Prograd Date and Duration:
The program is offered for four weeks from January to February, July to August. Detaild dates are avaialbe on the university website.
