School of Traffic and Transportation

School of Traffic and Transportation is one of the most historical disciplines within the university. Now it has developed six branches as Department of Transportation Management Engineering, Department of Traffic Engineering, Department of Traffic Information Management Engineering, Department of Urban Rail Traffic, System Engineering and Control Institute and System Science Institute.

Among them, the core team of "National Key Laboratory of Control and Safety of Railway Traffic" contributes significantly to the overall research efforts in the school. Additionally, we set up a series of scientific research and teaching practice base, such as E-commerce Laboratory, Education Museum of Transportation Equipments, Experiment Center of Traffic and Transportation, China Research Center of Integrated Traffic etc.

In the meantime, our school has 1 National Key Subject as Traffic and Transportation Planning and Management, 3 post-doctoral scientific research stations in Traffic and Transportation Engineering, System Science and System Engineering. We provide 2 first-grade doctoral programs in Traffic and Transportation Engineering and System Science; 9 second-grade doctoral programs:

Traffic and Transportation Planning and Management, Transportation and Logistics, Urban Traffic Engineering, Intelligent Transportation System, Traffic Safety Engineering, System Engineering, System Analysis and Integration, System Theory, Safety Technologies and Engineering; 11 second-grade master programs: Traffic and Transportation Panning and Management, Transportation and Logistics, Urban Traffic Engineering, Intelligent Transportation System, Traffic Safety Engineering, System Engineering, System Analysis and Integration, System Theory,

Safety Technologies and Engineering, Environmental Engineering and E-commerce; 3 master programs in Engineering as Traffic and Transportation Engineering，Logistics Engineering, Control Science and Engineering; 3 bachelor programs in Traffic and Transportation, Traffic Engineering and E-commerce. Meanwhile, we have 3 national classic outstanding courses: Transportation Organization, Traffic Planning, Urban Rail Traffic Planning and Design; 4 outstanding courses in province level: Traffic Planning, Transport Safety Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Facilities and Urban Rail Traffic Planning and Design.
