School of Applied Science

The School of Applied Science consists of Department of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, the Department of Applied Physics, the Department of Applied Chemistry and the Department of Biological Science and Technology, together with an Institute of Applied Physics, a Research Center of Modern Physics and a Research Center of Analytical Chemistry. The school attaches great importance to both basic theoretical teaching and scientific research. It has advanced experimental equipments. The rich experience of the school as the home of National Basic Engineering Courses and the Beijing Teaching Center has been drawn upon by many other universities.
