School of Civil and Environmental Engineering

The school of Civil and Environmental Engineering consists of Department of Civil Engineering, the Department of Environmental Engineering, the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering and the Department of Equipment Engineering, together with the Research Institutes of Mining Engineering and Vehicle Engineering.
Atached to the school are four national societies: the Mining Committee of the Chinese Society of metals, the Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the CAD and CAM committee of the Chinese Association of Metallurgical Automation and Artificial Rock Committee of the Chinese Ceramic Society. The school also heads one international society, APIFIS.
