A Group of Delegates From Wales Government Visited USTB

On Jun. 3, Mr. Iwan Davies, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Swansea University led the delegation of Wales Government, and Mr. Chris Davison, special envoy of The Prince’s Charities Foundation paid a visit to USTB. Prof. Xu Jinwu, President of USTB, and Prof. Zhang Yue, Vice President of USTB met with the delegation.
      
The visit mainly concerns the exchange and discussion of the China-Europe Standards Institute（CESI）. As a principal member of the project, USTB is also a partner in cooperation with Swansea University. In the meeting, the two sides probed into the projects and made a tentative agreement on the cooperation model between USTB and Swansea University.
      
USTB started cooperation with Swansea University in 2007. Up to now more than 40 students benefited from the joint education and dual degree programs.
