The program aims to cultivate qualified engineers and managerial personnel in hi-tech and modern manufacturing industries, specializing in product design & manufacturing, technological research and development. The graduates shall be equipped with basic theories of mechanical design & manufacturing, automation measurement and control, and be competent in dealing with practical mechatronics and numerical control problems, technology application, new-tech learning, as well as technological innovation.
Core Courses: Engineering Graphics, Engineering Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical Engineering and Electronic Technology, Fundamentals of Mechanical Design, Fundamentals of Machine Manufacturing Technology, Basic Technology of Exchangeability Measurement, Testing Technology, Microcomputer Principles and Interfacing Technique, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission, Motor Drive and Control, Electrical Control and PLC, Industrial Automation Technology, Theory of Numerical Control, Numerical Control Machine and Programming, Technology of Mechanical-electrical Integration, and CAD/CAM Technique.
Career Opportunities： Graduates shall be able to find employment in hi-tech industries of electrical-mechanical manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, information communications, integrated circuit manufacturing, photoelectric display manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, and equipment manufacturing, specializing in design and development, application research, operations management, pre-& after-sales technical support and marketing of mechanical-electrical integration products, information technology equipment and intelligent devices.
