Health Insurance
Insurance and Medical
All international students studying at ECNU should buy some medical insurance coverage by themselves. On the registration day of each semester, please show your insurance policy to our staff. If you haven’t bought any insurance, please go to the International Students Office to consult with us concerning the purchase of appropriate insurance for international students.

The transportation ways in Shanghai is various. Students are suggested to purchase a transportation map of Shanghai, which can be found in many bookstalls around campus. Please see the following information for your reference:
Transportation ways around Zhongbei campus:
1. Bus: 765 67 829 69 754 856 524 224 909
2. Light rail: Line 3 & Line 4, the station of JinShaJiang Road is about 10-min walk from school.
3. Metro: Line 2, the station of Zhongshan Gongyuan (Zhongshan Park) can be reached by bus 765 and 67 with only two stops.
Railway Station
Shanghai Train Station to Zhongshan Rd. Campus:
Take Light Rail Line 3 or 4 to Jinshajiang Rd Station, ten minutes’ walk to ECNU.
Airports
Departure from Hongqiao Airport:
a. Take No. 941 bus to Zhongshan Park and then change No. 67 bus to ECNU.
b. Subway Line 2 to Loushan Guan Rd and then take No.856 bus to ECNU.
c. About ￥40 for the 30 minutes’ taxi drive from the airport to ECNU.
Departure from Pudong Internation Airport Terminal 1:
a. No. 6 airport shuttle bus or Subway Line 2 to Zhongshan Park, and then take No.947 bus (get off at the stop Kaixuan Ningxia Rd) to ECNU.
b. No. 5 airport shuttle bus to Shanghai Railway Station, and then take Subway Line 4 (get off at the stop Jinsha Jiang Rd) to ECNU.
Departure from Pudong Internation Airport Terminal 2:
a. No. 6 airport shuttle bus or Subway Line 2 to Zhongshan Park, and then take No.947 bus (get off at the stop Kaixuan Ningxia Rd) to ECNU.
b. No.7 airport shuttle bus to Shanghai South Railway Station, and then take Subway Line 3 (get off at the stop Jinsha Jiang Rd) to ECNU.
The Hongqiao International Airport to Zhongbei Campus:
1. Take bus 941 to Zhangshan Gongyuan (Zhongshan Park) station, and change bus 67 to ECNU
2. Take subway line 2 to LouShanGuan Road station, and change bus 856 to ECNU
3. Take taxi to ECNU, which will take about 30 minutes and cost about 40rmb.
