SHNU Dance Troupe Invited to Perform at the 40th Anniversary of Sino-Cyprus Diplomatic Relations

SHNU: At the invitation of Ministry of Culture and Education of Cyprus, SHNU Dance Troupe arrived in Nicosia, capital of Cyprus on June 25, where they would give a special performance in celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Cyprus.
      
 The performance of the troupe was full of Chinese national characteristics and was very popular among the local residents. Some overseas Chinese and tourists said they would like to see more performances of this kind to enrich their cultural life.
       
 40 years have passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and SHNU Dance Troupe has become the second art troupe from China that has ever visited Cyprus.
       
 After the performance, the troupe visited the staff of Chinese Embassy in Cyprus, and they were cordially entertained by the ambassador couple, the counselor, and commander of Chinese UN peacekeepers in Cyprus. Besides, they had a get-together with the overseas Chinese in Cyprus.
