SBC Year 1 Entry (NCUK International Foundation Year)
1.Age and School Attendance Requirements Applicants must normally be 17 years of age by 30th September in the year of entry to SBC Year 1. They must have completed 12 years of school education including completion of year 12 and achieved a satisfactory level of pass in the Year 12 school leaving examinations. 2.English Language Requirements：A minimum of IELTS 5.0 in all components (or equivalent **). 3.Academic Requirements - Standard Qualifications: (a) International Baccalaureate: A minimum of 22 points. or: (b) UK GCSE, IGCSE or Cambridge O Levels: A minimum of 3 A Grades and 2 B Grades including Mathematics and Science subjects (or relevant subjects depending on Business or Engineering streams). or: (c) UK A2 Levels: A minimum of one E grade. or: (d) UK AS Levels: A minimum of 2 E grades. 1.Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included. 2.Passport-sized photo A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant. 3.Graduation certificate of high school Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized. 4.Academic transcript of high school 5.Two recommendation letters From professor,associate professor or equivalents. 6.Certificate of English proficiency test IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker. 7.Personal Statement Personal Statement with the applicant's signature, written in Chinese or in English.
