Basic courses: Principles of Management, Economics, Introduction to the World Hotel Industry, International Travel Regulations, Introduction to International Hotel Management, Hospitality Financial Management, Hotel Human Management, International Etiquette, Hotel Marketing, Hotel Public Relations, Hotel Revenue Management, Consumer Psychology, Hotel Investment Management, Luxury.
2.Compulsory courses: Property Hotel Management, Resort Management, Boutique Hotel Management, Theme Hotel Management, International Star Hotel Management, RV Camp Management, Food and Beverage Management, Front Office Operation, Rooms Operation, International Chain Brand Hotels Management, Bar Management, Cocktail and Beverage Making, Club Management, International Cruise Management, International Air Services, Recreation Services, British Butler Service, Food Safety, Dietary, Introduction to the World Food Culture.
3.Selective courses: World Religions Introduction, Chinese Health Culture, Cooking, Dessert, Luxury Property Management, Tea Culture, Ikebana Culture and so on.
Social Activities
1. Hotel Visiting:1 week in the second semester. To help students establish a preliminary understanding of the development and managing models of international hotel industry through visiting activities, which will also stimulate students' professional enthusiasm and strengthen their professional thinking.
2. Practice in International Hotels: Students need to accumulate hotel practice working hours up to required amount.
3. Industry Mentoring: The University will employ hotel executives as mentors for students.
4. International Hotel Internship: It lasts a whole year through the fifth and sixth semester.
5. Thesis: Thesis in the field of hotel management should be finished within 8 weeks in the 8th semester. Students are required to write thesis so that they will integrate theory with practice which means their improvement in research capacity and knowledge utilization.
