Global Institute of Management & Economic (GIME) at Dongbei University of Finance and Economic (DUFE) offer an MSc in TM (Tourism Management) based on teaching and research, complemented with practical application of learning during internship. As forecasted by the World Tourism Organization, China will be the world’s leading tourism destination by 2020. This prediction has important implications for businesses both directly and indirectly related to the tourism industry, leading to many employment opportunities. As such, the need to educate and prepare sufficient qualified managers to lead the expansion is eminent. Hence, we aims to integrate humanistic spirit and professional knowledge into university education, to train graduates with global competitiveness and with international perspectives, and to provide intellectual resources and support for management practice for the industry.
The medium of teaching is the English language. However, international students with no prior knowledge of the Chinese language are required to study Chinese reading and writing taught partly in the Chinese language. Candidates enrolled in this program are expected to engage in extensive self-studying on the topics covered during contact time.

1.Successful completion of Undergraduate degree with good grades; 2.IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, with no specific band requirement;
1.Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included. 2.Passport-sized photo A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant. 3.Bachelor's degree diploma Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized. 4.Transcript of undergraduate school
5.Two recommendation letters From professor,associate professor or equivalents.6.Certificate of English proficiency test IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.
