Classes:
Open all year with flexible enrollment. Students have classes from Monday to Friday, 3 class hours per day.
Students:
A diverse group from America, Great Britain, Germany, France, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Israel, Poland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, South Africa, Algeria, Indonesia, Morocco, Peru, and many other countries.
Teaching staff:
The “International Students Teaching Research Section”, which is run under the OICE of CDU has 13 full-time and part-time professional teachers. Most of them have acquired master's degrees and doctorates in Chinese language and culture.
Type of Classes:
In order to meet various needs of international students in their study and different levels of Chinese language of international students, CDU offers small size classes with usually less than 10 students. Special guidance classes with one or two students and courses may be offered and adjusted at any time according to the requirement of students.
Optional Courses:
In accordance with different interests and requirement of international students, CDU offers the following optional courses:
HSK Intensive Course, Chinese Calligraphy, Paper Cutting, Chinese Dance, Chinese Cuisine, Chinese Drawing, Chinese Martial Arts and Taiji.
The spring semester will start on Feb.28th 2011 and end on Jul.1st 2011
