Objective

This objective is to train students to obtain the theory, knowledge and ability of Chinese language and culture, and have a good command of English language so that students, after graduation, are able to work at home and abroad teaching Chinese as a second language, or serve as professional applied-oriented personnel in the field of cultural exchanges with overseas countries. This undergraduate major falls into three aspects: literature, culture and language. Literature includes Chinese and foreign literature; culture includes Chinese and foreign culture; language includes Chinese and English. In addition, students are required to grasp the knowledge of the branches of  linguistics
 

Schooling Length

In standards it lasts four years. The minimum of schooling length must be three years and its extension lasts no more than seven years.

Credits

The minimum of 175 credits must be obtained for graduation.

Diploma

Bachelor of Arts is granted
