Levels
· The course is Communication Chinese and it is divided into six levels: Elementary Ⅰ, Elementary Ⅱ; Intermediate Ⅰ, Intermediate Ⅱ; Advanced Ⅰ, Advanced Ⅱ
Curriculum
· Reading and Writing, Chinese Comprehensive Training, Listening and Speaking, Reading Comprehension, Readings in Newspapers and Periodicals, News listening comprehension, Chinese Composition, Advanced Chinese and Chinese Culture, etc.
Extra-curricular Activities
· HSK (primary, middle and advanced levels), Cantonese, Business Chinese, Chinese Calligraphy, Martial Arts, Pronunciation Training, Learning Chinese by singing Chinese songs, China Economy, etc..
Classroom Arrangement
· Small class size with about 20 students
Language Practice
· CIC organizes all various activities to create a language environment which offers students good opportunities to practice Chinese.
Teaching Duration
· One academic year is divided into two semesters: Spring semester and Autumn semester.
Certificate
· Upon the successful completion, a certificate will be issued by CIC, SCNU.

· Applicants are eligible to apply for placement all year around 1. High school graduate or equivalent
