School of Pharmaceutical Science

Unique Programs
• Developing medicine from natural medicine resources, including terricolous Nanyao (medicine originally from Southeast Asia and Africa) and marine medicine.
• Developing chemical synthesized medicine, biotech medicine and modernization of Chinese traditional medicine.
• In 2003, 35 research subjects were undertaken by the School and the total research funding is 13 million RMB, including 8 million RMB supported by the Key Research Project of Guangdong Province.
