Introduction

The world economy, or global economy, generally refers to the economy, which is based on economies of all of the world's countries' national economies. Also global economy can be seen as the economy of global society and national economies – as economies of local societies, making the global one. Global Economics majors study economics in the context of a particular geographic area, incorporating language study, area study, and study abroad into their academic plan. 


Objectives
The World Economy  major is intended to provide liberal arts students with an interdisciplinary introduction to the causes of economic globalization, to the changes that it is bringing to the international environment in which the United States conducts its economic and political relations with other nation-states, and to the domestic consequences of these changes.

Students who complete the program will develop a sound understanding of economics in an international context, focusing particularly on one geographic area. The program also increases the educational opportunities of undergraduates to develop critical thinking skills and gain experiential learning opportunities in the area of international economics. Employment opportunities for well-trained graduates in Global Economics are excellent in government, international trade and finance, and industry.


Degree Awarded
Students are required to complete the curriculum and course, fulfill the designated number of credits.Successful candidates will receive a graduation certificate along with the Doctoral's degree, in accordance to the regulation of the Degree Awarding Committee.

Career
Following completion of entry-level training, newly graduated medical practitioners are often required to undertake a period of supervised practice before the licensure, or registration, is granted, typically one or two years. This period may be referred to as "internship", "conditional registration", or "foundation programme". Then, doctors may finally follow specialty training in internal medicine if they wish, typically being selected to training programs through competition.
