Specialty Education Objective
The International class on economics of Wuhan University is particularly designed for the in-school international students. We aim at cultivating students’ adaptability, practical ability, strategic thinking and decision-making ability in order to meet the needs. Our program serves as a direct steppingstone towards employment and continuously provides enterprising and innovative high-level personnel dedicated in economic work.
Length of Schooling and credit requirements
Length of Schooling: Four years in general.
Credit Requirements: 140 credits are required for graduation and degree conferring. 84 credits are required from compulsory courses (including general education compulsory courses, foundation compulsory courses and major compulsory courses as well as the thesis and the graduation practice), and 56 credits are required from elective courses (including general education elective courses, foundation elective courses and major elective courses). Of which 6 credits are for thesis and 2 credits are for graduate practice as well as 33 credits must be attained in general education elective courses.
Degree Granting
Those who met the criteria will be granted a bachelor's degree in economics.

Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Accounting, Statistics , Management, Money and Banking , Econometrics , Development Economics, Public Finance, Taxation, International Economics , International Business , Finance Economics, International Finance, Investment and Insurance, etc.
Special curriculum were arranged to meet the needs of international students. For example, cross-cultural relationships and learning skills, the study on contemporary Chinese economy, China 's foreign trade , business Chinese, and trade and practical writing on economy & trade, etc.
Graduation Requirements and Other Necessary Instructions
Students, who complete all courses and practices, finish the regulated credits within qualified scores and submit an eligible graduation thesis will be granted graduation. For other graduation requirements not specifically stipulated in this paper, please reference to the relevant provisions of Wuhan University, School of Economics and Management, and international student institute.
