There are 6 levels of Chinese language courses offered each semester, from Beginning to Excellent, suitable for foreigners with different Chinese language skills. There are 20 hours of class instruction a week by professors and lecturers, 16 weeks per semester. 

Curriculum
The Chinese Language courses generally include Pronunciation, Grammar, Conversation, Listening, Writing, Reading, Newspaper Direction, Chinese Literature, Chinese Culture, Chinese Survey, HSK preparation and practical activities. In some courses, students can learn how to go about practical daily activities in China, such as, going to see the doctor, going to the post office, or shopping in the local market. The curriculum’s breadth has met the special demands and interests of students. You can choose specific classes as you see fit for your levels. As such, 6 levels of Chinese language courses are offered ( from beginning to excellent ). More courses in English are available for grouped English spoken students.

Textbooks
Textbooks are all approved by the Office of Teaching Chinese for Foreigners, P. R. China, with explanations in English. We specially provide the every material for foreign students’ options.
 
Classrooms
Classrooms and the International College are both located in the Central Teaching Building, helping to facilitate contact between students with their advisors when students need assistance.

When to apply?
For spring semester enrollment, please apply between November 1 and January 31.
For autumn semester, applications between May 1 and July 31 are acceptable.
The spring semester starts from beginning of March and the autumn semester is from beginning of September.

Placement Examination
Chinese language students may take the examination after registration for classification of their own Chinese level so that they may choose an appropriate class level to study.

1.High school graduate or equivalent or above
2.Aged 18 years old or above
3.The course setting is about one semester or more. Those who have experience or not in Chinese language learning can apply to study Chinese in International College.
1 Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2 Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.  Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

4.  Academic transcript of high school

5 No Objection Letter(N.O.C.) from the pervious university if you are a transfer student
A student who has studied in China and wants to transfer to another university must provide the N.O.C. from original university.
