The Science of Litigation Law

The Science of Litigation Law as a discipline in the College of Law is one of the focuses in the developing programs of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications(CQUPT). It is built upon litigation laws and systems related to the information network. It relies on advantages of talents for information science and technology of CQUPT, and focuses on the legal systems and regulations of litigation laws related to information networks. It has made great achievements in electronic evidence related to information networks, litigation, judicial investigation of the network conducts, and has developed an information network with its own characteristics different from that of other colleges and universities. In addition to a team of specialists in the litigation law and theoretical evidence study, there is another team of professors and Ph. D.s doing theoretical and practical researches in the computer network and its security, on-the-spot investigation and detective technology of computer crime, acquisition and identification of electronic evidence. With an advanced information technology both at home and abroad, the technology and equipment of the experimental network of CQUPT, an information security laboratory and a judicial identification center have been set up mainly for computer and biological gene identification for this the discipline of the science of litigation law.
The discipline aims to train talents for the construction of socialist modernization and a democratic country with the rule of law. It sets requirements for students that they should master an extensive body of theoretical and systematic knowledge in litigation law,that they should be familiar with the legal knowledge and technology in those specialties as network lawsuits, judicial authentication of network information, and electronic evidence,that they should be fairly good at a foreign language and can understand literature in their field in that language,that they should be able to conduct independent research in the litigation law, and that they should be able to teach and do research in the litigation law, particularly in the evidence and litigation law theory related to information networks and practical legislative, judicial work.
