The Basic Marxism Principles

The basic Marxism principles, the underlying theories and categories of the Marxist scientific system, are reflections of the Marxist stands, viewpoints and methods theoretically. These basic principles generalize the nature and development of human society and are significant in guiding the social practice and development of social science.
The discipline aims to train specialized talents with a Marxist and socialist belief, and a comprehensive development morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically. They are supposed to be equipped with the Marxist theory, a solid foundation of professional knowledge, a wide horizon of knowledge, a right theoretical direction and a good style of study. And they should have competence for scientific research, have a good master of a foreign language and understand literature in their field in that language. They should be competent to do scientific research, fulfill teaching tasks in higher educational institutions and conduct party and governmental work.
The discipline has a rationally-structured academic echelon of professors, associate professors with fruitful researches in science philosophy, information culture and problems in social development of networks. And it develops into a discipline of its own characteristics, and teachers in this discipline have carried out a number of national social science fund projects and provincial and ministerial research projects.
