System Engineering

The discipline of System Engineering, with systems as its target and theories of system, information and control as its basis and core, focuses on the theory, method, technology and engineering application of the control system and considers the overall performance and optimization effects on a systematic and comprehensive basis. With the increasingly complex control system and increasingly diverse control methods, it is of great theoretical and practical value to approach problems in the control area with methods of systems engineering, and is of referential value to social sciences, traffic systems and so on.
Relying on the Chongqing Network Control and Intelligent Instrumentation key laboratory, automatic control technology key laboratory of the Ministry of Information Industry Post , the Chongqing university e-commerce and modern logistics key laboratory, the discipline goes in the front in teaching forces, talents training, scientific research and other aspects. In recent years, it has won 3 provincial and ministerial awards, 1 outstanding educational achievement award, an outstanding teaching material award, published 2 academic books and 2textbooks, had more than 100 academic papers published (more than 60 are selected by SCI / EI / ISTP Search ), obtained 3 utility model patents and 1 invention patent, and applied 3 invention patents. More than 60 high-quality articles have been published in important international journals with the impact factor over 1.0 and papers in "SCI" have been cited by others more than 100 times.
Some of the research results in the discipline are innovatively featured and at a leading position internationally. For example, it has carried out in-depth studies in the two central issues of the chaotic phenomena and control in the hybrid system, established the topology horseshoe theory of piecewise continuous mapping and horseshoe measurement theory, discovered and proved the existence of chaos and transient chaos in inertia dual-cell neural network, and in strict sense proved chaoticness of non-symmetric 3-D Hopfield type of neural network, offered the N-buffer flow model of topological entropy, proved the possibility of small feedback control of chaos system , established a set of a chaotic signal generator design theory, invented a new series of chaotic signal generators, and devised a lot of chaotic hybrid systems and realized with circuits.
