The BA program in Business Administration offers students a general knowledge in business and enables students to practice in functional areas of business. This program allows the students to build general intellectual competence in the areas of accounting, management, human resource management, marketing and operation management for a career in industry, commerce or the public sector, or in preparation for postgraduate study.
This program also helps students develop their critical thinking, research, team work and communication skills, and encourages students to consider and respond appropriately to ethical issues in today’s business environment.
The program includes General Education, Business Administration Concentration and Electives.
The General Education is to develop students’ knowledge and skills in areas of Academic Writing, Foreign Language, Epistemology and Cognition, Ethical Thought and Moral Values, Historical Analysis, Literature and the Arts, Quantitative Reasoning, Science and Technology, Social Analysis, etc.

In Elective Courses students are allowed to choose additional courses in management or related areas. Courses offered include Marketing in China, International Business and a variety of economics courses. Students are also given opportunities to select courses from other department that not related to business.
The BA program is a full-time 3 to 4-year program. Students in this program can apply to transfer to US or UK partner universities from their third year if entry requirementsare met. Not all general education courses are compulsory for students who may transfer to UK partner universities.
Prospective students must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
