Department of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin Polytechnic University (TJPU) was founded in 1997. It has a well-earned reputationfor excellence in teaching, learning and research.Relying onState Key Laboratory of Separation Membranes and Membrane Processes，the research work in the Department focuses on sustainable technology and covers four main areas: Membrane Separation Processes, Catalysis and Reaction Engineering, Materials and Technologies of New Energy Sources and Environmental Chemical Engineering.
Currently, there are over20 faculty members in the department to constitute the academic staff and 40% of them have experience of oversea study and work. The Department provides two curricula systems, i.e. Chemical Engineering and Processing, and Energy Chemical Engineering for more than 400 undergraduate students. The degrees are designed to meet the needs of industry and prepare students for a rewarding career in chemical engineering.
Chemical Engineering and Processing is a four-years program, the candidates need to obtain noless than 120 credits in the first seven semesters and finish graduation thesis in the last semester to receive bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Processing.Anyone, whoisinterested in Chemical Engineeringand study in TJPU,is welcome to apply for this program.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, normally aged 18 and above and in good health, holding valid passports and willing to abide by China’s laws as well as the university’s rules and regulations and show due respect to China’s social and cultural customs.
