LONG-TERM PROGRAMS:
Normally, the learning period lasts one whole year with 2 terms: School starts in every February (spring class) and September (autumn class). Each term has 18 weeks, with 24 classes per week. In each term there is 1-or-2 outside learning practice such as visiting, interviewing and discussion around mid-term. Students who have abided by Taizhou University regulations and who have earned required exam scores, will be conferred Completion Certification of Taizhou University.
Course Arrangement
1) Courses and Subjects:
The courses of Chinese as a foreign language mainly include Basic Chinese, Applied Chinese and Literary Works, etc. In both long-term and short-term programs all courses are subject to students' Chinese level and learning purposes. All required courses of the two programs are: Chinese (elementary, intermediate and advanced), Spoken Chinese and Listening, Chinese Reading and Writing, Chinese Newspaper Reading, Selected Works Reading. HSK (Chinese test) Exam-oriented Training, Chinese Phonetics, Chinese Culture and so on.
2) Seminars and Lectures:

3) Activities&Journey:
(1) Greeting of new comers and open ceremony;
(2)City-outlooking (including Jiangnan Greatwall);
(3) Watching art performances and sports games;
(4) Festival-celebrating evenings;
(5) Public dancing parties;
(6) Concerts of Chinese and foreign songs;
(7) Sports games (football, basketball, ping-pong, badminton etc. );
(8) Essay writing and exhibitions of excellent writings, photography, calligraphy and painting;
(9) Making Jiaozi and other local food with flavor;
(10) Field practice (visiting Museums, factories and farms);
(11) Travel: Short-distance journey and Long-distance travel;
Taizhou University is responsible for organization and communication of accommodation. The attendees can enjoy group discount and take care of the cost themselves.
