This program aims to help you to develop Chinese language skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. Small class-size with maximum 20 is available to students at all proficiency levels (Pure Beginner through Proficient), and one-on-one after-class tutorials will make rapid progress and have plenty of opportunities to practice your language skills. CUPL will organize free Beijing study tours every Tuesday to experience the local culture. Moreover, two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students during the program.
The course focuses on improving your Chinese skills. Classes will include modules on Grammar and Vocabulary, Reading and Writing, Listening and Note Taking, Oral Chinese, Special Courses and Study tours in Beijing.Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students who get excellent performance during the examination organized by school in November. The scholarships are provided by CUCAS to reward the outstanding students who study this program.
CUPL&CUCAS Chinese (Mandarin) Program is the best-valued course as language preparation for pursuing futher degree programs in CUPL.
Every student will be arranged for airport pick-up service with free of charge.
Weekly events on campus, popular Chinese destinations tour, local family visit and traditional culture taste will be threaded the program.
Visa extension support at the end of program will be provided if you would like to keep studying at CUPL
CUPL will provide each student upon written request an official transcript and recommend an appropriate number of credits for each course which is up to the discretion of each student's home institution to award credits according to its own credit system.
