Educational Objectives:
This major aims to cultivate well-grounded, practical, creative and all-rounded research talents who are well developed in morality, intelligence and physical condition to meet the requirements of national industrial modernization. Students will work with theoretical and practical research of intelligent mechatronic system design and autonomous control technologies through engineering design, product development and technology management in the fields of space craft, airplanes, rockets, robots, automatic plant and precision machining.

Program Outcomes:
Graduates are qualified to work in areas related with intelligent mechatronic engineering, such as intelligent robots and other industrial automatic equipment. Intelligent mechatronic system design and engineering play a leading role. Attention is also paid to the integrated design of the computer controlling system, electronic system and mechanical system, as well as modern technology and design methods. Emphasis is also placed on sound theory, innovative thinking, and cultivating abilities of practice and innovation.
